Of course,last but not the least:I must admit that I am a bit of a drama queen. I enjoy doing my Desi Simmi Video blogs in Punjabi. Its recounting funny anecdotes from every day life from a very very Punjabi mindset.

My life so far:
Journalist & Writer
I kick started my career as a Reporter Researcher for South Asia Bureau of Time Magazine in New Delhi. Although I moved to fitness training, I continued writing as a freelancer. During this stint I have penned down many feature articles on fitness for well-known publications like Femina, Savvy, Bombay Times and Grehshobha.
TV Show Host
I Got the opportunity to host 100 episodes of a fitness show named “Figure It Out” on Star One channel. In addition to this, I hosted many shows on Tara Punjabi TV channel. These TV shows helped me to reach the masses and develop niche fans that look forward to my appearances.
For the last 9 years, I have been hosting “Jo Fit Hai Woh Hit Hai” on 92.7 BigFM. Every show energizes me. In fact, interacting with my listeners and giving them fitness tips makes me feel fresh. This show helps me to bring a positive change about in the world and helps me reach my goal of creating a fitter world.
YouTube Video Blogger
For my heavy internet consuming fans I have a presence on Youtube. My channel features regular updates on fitness tips. Sometimes, I just share my on-the-road experiences with my fans. Check out “Desi Simmi in New York” as I explore American culture. I made it during my short visit to New York and managed to regale Punjabi speaking audiences everywhere.
